Are you people all dead? Where you at? Give me some feedback, so I know you're still there! Soccer game Tuesday went well. We tied it up in the last few minutes...I also hurt my knee and my ankle, but it's all good. It should be better within the week...I hope. Anyway, I'm off to bed. Have a good week. Later days!

Just thinkin'

So I was going back through a good friend's blog, and just thinking how grateful I am that she's my friend and that she was there for me when I was in Honduras, and when I returned. Going back through some of her entries and some of mine reminded me of all the mixed feelings I had when I got back. I was terribly homesick...Honduras had become my home. I missed my Honduran friends who had become like family in only 10 days. I remember feeling like I was alone, because my friend--who I wanted to just spill everything out to--was in another part of the U.S. I remember wanting to be either with her, or back in Honduras...anywhere but here, basically. But as I look back on it all now, I am glad that "no one" was here when I returned...of course, my friend was writing me and helping me as much as I would be helped, but I really had to depend on God to be everything I needed. And it was super hard. But looking back, I'm amazed at how much my walk with the Lord has grown since July 1-10th. It's incredible. I'm so ready for Honduras this year, but this time...I'll try to be a little more prepared coming back. :) I'm out. Later days.

Yay for being alive!

Friday was incredible! Thanks for praying! 3rd soccer game tonight. It was ok. We played the best team in the league and managed to hold them off the whole first half. We ended up losing 4-0 in the end. That stunk, but we're getting better so, it's gonna be awesome! Later days!

Life in general

I 'spose I should update. Life is pretty good. I'm enjoying work. I do something new everytime I'm there, and I really enjoy being around the people. Dakota is not that small anymore. She's doubled her weight since that picture was taken. Lil' pig. *laughs* School is school...I only have a few more months left, so I might as well just push through to the end. And soccer is starting up. It's so great to be on the field again. Yes, I'm sadly outta shape, but it's so fun to be out there tearin' it up once again. And that's about all.
