How many laps?!?!?

I love soccer. I honestly do. And I love my soccer coaches too....just not when they send us to the Bellevue gym and have us run 4 MILES!!! We went to Coach Chuck's house and watched some soccer on TV for a while, then he told us we'd better get to the gym and work out. He looks at us and says, "I want you to run 4 miles, minumum." My jaw dropped. The most I've ever run (aside from actual soccer games) was like, 1.8 miles or something. So I was very, um, worried, I guess you could say. So we all get there, and we're like, "That's 32 laps!!!" Just hearing that many...ugh, it was awful. We got a few counting things, and took off. It took us about 45 minutes to run 4.5 miles. I was so tired, yet I had to go and serve at a wedding and be on my feet for 2 more hours. But, all things aside, we should be in shape very soon, and I'll be glad when all this pain in my body ceases. One thing's for sure...I'll sleep good tonight.

Conditioning stinks

I hate conditioning. I hate it. But, obviously, you can't just go out and run for 90 minutes on a whim. For those of you who don't know, soccer practice has started, and Frank has run us into the ground the past 2 practices. My lungs feel like they've expanded 2 inches after each practice. It hurts. But, on the other hand, it will be nice to have toned muscles for the summer. I just don't think we have to do it in 2 practices. We have practices on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and I try to run on my own Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It's tough, but I really want to be in shape so I can give it my all, and maybe we can win some games. Well, I have church, so later days!

Attack of the Killer Razors

Holy smokes, man! Beware the razors!!! I'm in the shower today, shaving my legs for soccer practice tonight (which by the way, is going to be AWESOME!) with a brand new razor. For some strange reason, my hand got in the way, and I took a ginormous chunk out of my pinky fingernail. Can we say, ow? More like, "SMOKES, THAT KILLS!!!" Yeah, it wouldn't stop bleeding either. Anyway, I must go, but next time I will tell about my "flushing" adventure. Later days!!

"Ridin' in the 'Stang!"

What a day today has been. I've been running errands for my mom like, all afternoon. I stopped by this house off of Trinity to look at the sweetest Mustang these peepers have ever peeped! This Stang was sooooo awesome. It was a '69, hard top, maroon beauty. Chrome hubcaps, new paint job, leather interior...fixed up like nothing else. Out of price range, of course, but I can dream, can't I? Well, I have nothing more to say that could be cool, so later days!

Breakin' the law

People break the law more often than you think. I found that out last night, and even this afternoon. Get this--last night, I'm at Kohl's with my mom and brother. While they're off somewhere in the back of the store, I'm browsing the young ladies section, which is by the door. Now, because of my awesome CIA training and secret ninja moves from the government, I noticed this lady walking around the building with a Kohl's cart, stuffed with those huge black mesh Kohl's bags, each of which were filled to the brim. She walks over to the section by me, leaving her cart near me (but closer to the door). This dude outside almost ran into the window in his hurry to get inside (which weirded me out, but would have been quite funny if he had run into it). So he comes in and says to the lady, "Are you ready?" I'm thinkin' it's maybe his girlfriend, or maybe his wife, and he's ready to go. Still, the look of urgency in his eyes really had me unnerved. Then I noticed the cigarette in his mouth. The crackhead was inside! With a cigarette! I began to think that maybe he was just coming in real fast (which he was...literally). The lady said something like, "You got the receipt?" As she walked out the door, he stayed put by the cart, which was still very near me. He looked at his girlfriend, looked at the cart, then glared at me. Before I could think, he grabbed a bag, turned, and sprinted out the door. My jaw dropped. I thought about running outside and trying to see the plates on the car, but the thought of him blowing away the only witness kept me inside. I didn't know if he had a gun or not, but I wasn't taking any chances. The people at the desk did what they could, but he was long gone. Ugh. The look on his face when he stared at me still is scary enough to freeze my insides. The thought that a robbery happened about 3 feet from me weirds me out too. But enough about that.

I practially broke the law today myself. I didn't really, but we were almost late to Geometry. Almost. Our van sprouted wings. :) The fact that I was driving had nothing to do with it though. Honest. 0:) Later days!

Gone again...

You can probably guess what this is about...especially if you've talked to me recently. Yes, sadly, Michele is off to England again. It seems like she just got back and she has to go already. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. I've felt so out of it since my grandma's heart attack. Even with a calender and church to help me keep track of what day it is, everything is a blur. Is this normal? I felt like I haven't even seen my friends at church like, at all. Oh well. Michele will be gone Thursday, and I shall fall into a deep depression. Poo. Later days.

Second thoughts about Beckham...

I got the new Beckham 2005 calender! Woohoo! The best part? Month after month of Beck's purty face. The worst part? The metro-sexual shaves his armpits!!!!!! Oy. All for now. Later days!

Vols

Hm...where to begin? First off, my grandma is out of the hospital and is going back to Colorado with my grandpa tomorrow. All your support has been amazing and overwhelming. Thank you so much.

School offically started up today, I guess. First Geometry class of the semester. Blah. At least we get out April 20th. Unfortunatly, that is my birthday, so that will not be fun to do math on my birthday, but what can you do? Oh well. Anyways, on to the main subject of this post. David posted about some Vols fan naming his kid Knox not too long ago, and while this isn't as good as that, I saw the ugliest orange car today that had a Vols license plate on the front. Some fans will do almost anything. Of course, if I could get a car in Carolina blue, that wouldn't bother me much. :) All for now. Later days!
