Party!

I found some of these pictures the other day and I decided to post them. This is my 9-10th grade Sunday School class on our last weekend together before we moved up. We spent the night Saturday, then did fun stuff all day Sunday and came to church Sunday night (we went to church on Sunday morning too though). So here is some of those fun things that we did. I wanted to post a pic of me scared to death of a sparkler (it was so hilarious looking), but it's not very clear, so maybe another time. If these pics are too fuzzy, click on them to open them bigger. That helps a little. All for now. Later days!

Heaven.....

Wow, what a weekend! It was pure bliss. Out of school for like, 4 or 5 days, eating like the world's over tomorrow, studying the backs of my eyelids for 11 hours...ah, it was great! The best part was eating so much food, then eating so many cookies that I literally almost barfed. I was full for like 2 days. Now that is Heaven...to a degree. Hope everyone out there had a wonderful Thanksgiving too!!

I watched Elf for the 1st time Friday. It was pretty funny, and I've perfected some of the dance moves, just like my Napoleon Dynamite moves. I cannot wait for that DVD...it's gonna be so friggin' sweet!! It'll be awesome...incredible. :) Well, I'm am through, but next week I have my 1st indoor game of the season if you wanna come watch. I'll update on the time, cuz I'm not real sure right now. Later days!

The madness is over!

I had my final band concert of all time tonight. It was pretty fun. I got Perfect Practice for the first time in my life!! I was very pleased. No, I'm not a band nerd, but I was happy to get that award. It was special. And Maria came! Thanks, Ria. That meant a lot to me. And Lizzy came too! lol, it was fun. Well, I have nothing more to say, so I'm outta here. Later days!

Last indoor game *tear*

Well, tonight was our last indoor game until December 5th. We lost, 9-7, but we played great. We were down, 5-0, then Andrew got a free kick, passed it right in front of the goal, and I shot and scored my very first indoor goal!!! I was so excited!! After some wonderful goals by Chad Reynolds, we were down, 8-6. We scored again and we were only down by 1. But then they scored one more and we lost by 2. But we played an awesome game, especially after being down by 5 or 6. Just goes to show that perseverence is a wonderful thing. And if you were sadly disappointed that you couldn't make a game, it's ok! We start up in exactly 2 weeks, the 5th of December. So come on out...it's what the cool people do. :) Later days!!

Boxing up...boxes.

Today was pretty cool. I went to church with about 30 somthing other homeschool students and we all folded up the shoeboxes for the shoebox ministry thing. We must have folded 5,000 boxes. I'm not quite sure if that's the right number, but it sure seemed like it. It was fun. We finished 2 hours before we were supposed to, too. Cuz us homeschoolers...we're good like that. :) I miss the test "would you rather" things on Dave's website. C'mon, David, bring 'em back!! Welp, I'm pretty much bored, so I'm going to leave now, but my last indoor game for a few weeks is Sunday at 8:30. Dulin's. Whatever. You know the drill. Come if ya want. Later days.

We are the champions

Sorry I haven't posted since..erm, Sunday. It doesn't really matter anyway though, because I think the only people who come here are Maria and David. Our last outdoor game was Tuesday and we won. It was fun. So, for the first time ever, I was on an undefeated team. While we didn't sing "We Are the Champions", we did go to Sonic as a team to celebrate, but I couldn't go, because I had to go study for the Chemistry final I was supposed to take today. I'll be taking it next week because I don't have the test booklet. *snaps fingers* Oh dern...I was so hoping to take that test today. Guess it'll have to wait until next week. :) And we lost miserably Sunday night at indoor. 11-4...worst game ever played, but it was my best game, so what does that tell you? I'm just hoping I score in our last game this Sunday. It's at 8:30 at Dulin's if you wanna come watch, Maria and David. :) Welp, I'm outta here cuz I got good ole band to go to. Our concert is Monday, woohoo! Lata days.........................

Deep Thoughts

Wow, these make me crack up! Hope they make you smile...

#293: Many people don't realize that playing dead can help not only with bears, but also at important business meetings.

#429: I'll never forget the time Grandma tripped at the top of the stairs and fell all the way down and then rolled and hit her head against the front door. We all laughed and laughed, until we realized, Hey, she's not joking!

#89: If you ever go temporarily insane, don't shoot somebody, like a lot of people do. Instead, try to get some weeding done, because you'd really be surprised.

#242: A funny thing is if you're out hiking and your friend gets bitten by a poisonous snake, tell him you're going for help, then go about ten feet and pretend you got bit by a snake. Then start an argument about who's going to go get help. A lot of guys will start crying. That's why it makes you feel good when you tell them it was just a joke.

#316: I think it should be a law that if you ever get sucked up into a tornado, whatever you can grab with your hands while you're swirling around up there, you get to keep.

#66: One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.

#44: I think there should be something in science called the "reindeer effect." I don't know what it would be, but I think it'd be good to hear someone say, "Gentlemen, what we have here is a terrifying example of the reindeer effect."

#678: Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don't know what your rights are, or who the person is you're talking to. Then on the way out, slam the door.

#867: If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

#78: There's nothing so tragic as seeing a family pulled apart by something as simple as a pack of wolves.

#2: As a young boy, when you get splashed by a mud puddle on the way to school, you wonder if you should go home and change, but be late for school, or go to school the way you are; dirty and soaking wet. Well, while he tried to decide, I drove by and splashed him again.

#67:Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis.

#456: I bet the main reason the police keep people away from a plane crash is they don't want anybody walking in and lying down in the crash stuff, then, when somebody comes up, act like they just woke up and go, "What was THAT?!"

#55:When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.

#798: I think someone should have had the decency to tell me the luncheon was free. To make someone run out with potato salad in his hand, pretending he's throwing up, is not what I call hospitality.

#98: The memories of my family outings are still a source of strength to me. I remember we'd all pile into the car - I forget what kind it was - and drive and drive. I'm not sure where we'd go, but I think there were some trees there. The smell of something was strong in the air as we played whatever sport we played. I remember a bigger, older guy we called "Dad." We'd eat some stuff, or not, and then I think we went home. I guess some things never leave you.

#34: Laurie got offended that I used the word "puke." But to me, that's what her dinner tasted like.

#67:As the evening sky faded from a salmon color to a sort of flint gray, I thought back to the salmon I caught that morning, and how gray he was, and how I named him Flint.

#567: If you ever catch on fire, try to avoid looking in a mirror, because I bet that will really throw you into a panic.

I've gotten my exercise for the weekend

By the time this weekend gets over, I'll have run/walked a good 5 miles. Not kidding. I went to a BCS football game last night (they won, yay!) and my friend Kelli and I walked 2 miles (we walked around the track 8 times). Then I had a soccer game this afternoon and I played midfield for most of the game (mid runs the most. pros average 8 miles a game, but I'm no pro). Then tomorrow night I have an indoor game and that's a lot of running. Indoor is way more running than anything else I've ever done. Way more fast paced too. I love it though. Unfortunatly our game isn't until 9:30, so I prolly won't get home until a little after 10:30 (the game lasts about 50 minutes). But it's ok. My Chemistry final is this Thursday, so pray for me! I'm sort of nervous, but I'm also like jeez, let's just get this massacre over already. I know I shouldn't be that way, but I'm so tired of Chemistry and school in general. I can't wait for Christmas. Michele comes home December 21st!!! I can't wait! Woohoo!! Ok, well, I gotta go. Later days!

Becks' hat

I just love Beckham. He's so cute! Maria, is that the hat you were talking about before? If you look real close, you can see his initials (DB) on the front. I like the hat. I like the color and the way it's woven? (help me out there Maria...you're the knitting master) It's cool. Anyways...man it's nippy outside today. All this rain has cooled things down a lot. That means my game tomorrow is going to be...interesting. It's probably going to be all muddy again (but that will make it FUN), but if it's cold...ugh, cold and my asthma just don't get along. But I'll manage...I always do somehow. Yeah, if you're bored and have nothing better to do, you can come watch my game tomorrow. It's a 12:30, on field 4 at Bellevue. Okkk, welp, I'm a-gonna go. Later days! Vive l'Anjuol!! :)

i like that hat...i like that dude too. Posted by Hello

What a day

Wow. I did end up having to get up super-early, only to get to church and find out they canceled the parade! Ugh! I was actually excited about going too. Especially the CiCi's part...I could've used some pizza. So I came home and got back in bed, taking like a 3 hour nap. Ah, bliss. Ok, before I go, I have some advice for those of you in school...

Yesterday in Geometry class, I was sitting at the back table, talking to Courtney about the movie, Around the World in 80 Days. I was preceeding to quote a line from the movie, when our teacher began to talk about nasty Algebra stuff. Of course, I was not paying attention and whispered to Courtney, "I spit on you! France spits on you! Vive l'Anjoul!!" in my best French accent (this was a line from the movie). At the last part, Vive whatever, I raised my hand slightly to emphasize my point, when my teacher spotted me with my hand raised and called on me. Here were the problems...#1, I was not paying attention, so I had no clue what we were talking about, or what she was asking, and #2, when I did figure out what we were doing, I realized I would never in a million years get the correct answer because those problems take me forever to do. So, when in doubt, I guessed...of course, I guessed the wrong answer. But it wouldn't have mattered anyway. If I had said the right answer, she would've asked, "And what would we do?" Leaving me to reply, "Uh...lucky guess?" :) So, the moral of the story...don't quote movies if the problems are hard. Later days!

P.S. My last outdoor soccer game (other than the tournament, if there is one) is this Saturday at 12:30, on field 4. I'll work on my Becks hairstyle so I can wear it to the game! Woohoo! :)

Beckham hair!! ....or not

I chopped off all my hair!! Woohoo! lol, yes, I got my hair cut. It's past my shoulders, amazingly. I had asked to get it pretty short so I could do the Beckham Double Ponytail thing, but I tried to do it and it doesn't work!! The top ponytail is too long, and covers the bottom one! Ugh! So all my hair came off for nothing...ok, not really, cuz it's really nice to have it all gone and it feels so...so...so FREE!! I dunno...maybe I'm just weird. Ok, I gotta go cuz I'm going to have to get up at the buttcrack of the dawn for the Veteran's Day Parade tomorrow, but you can come watch us! I think it's downtown somewhere, but I'm not for sure. Oh well. Have a wonderful day! Later...

Ped Xing

A long time ago, in ancient dynastic China, there was an emperor named Ped Xing. He was famed for his hastiness and hot temper, which served him well on the battlefield, but a time of peace was upon him and he had nothing to do. So it was court intrigue that did him in, you see, those that conspired against him poisoned a bottle of wine and told him at a state dinner that it was a new, untried wine from India, and they say no mortal man could ever imbibe it. Ped Xing hastily took a large drink just to prove them wrong. And so it was that he died. So tragic was this that even to this very day you see signs that say "Slow Ped Xing", to remind us all of the dangers of haste.

Random day

Hang on tight, cuz I got a lot of random things to say. First off, my indoor game went well last night. My S.S. teacher and Lizzy came! Yay! So that was cool. We won, 8-7 (the closest game we've ever had), and the pressure of the game made everyone go crazy. This one dude on the other team got mad at Andrew (our Tom Cruise look-alike...ooh, he's soooo cute! lol) and started cussing him out. I was like, ooh, dirty mouth. It's extremely hard to sit on the bench when your team's only ahead by one...my nerves were shot. I could hardly take it. Yup, but we won, so it was all good. I had an assist too! Anyways, on to other business...it's almost physically possible to close your lip shut in one of those fold-and-shut calculators. Yep, I tested it, and with a lil' more pressure and some morphine, I might be able to make it physically possible. Heh heh. We'll see. I'll keep you updated. And on a last note...I'm waging a political war w/ somebody on Dave's website. I think I'm losing, but it's kind of fun to see how much you can get somebody's dander up. Shh...just don't tell this dude. :) Ok, well, I'm going to go practice my flute (two more weeks until Perfect Practice! Just you wait, Maria!), but I have a soccer game tomorrow night @ 5:30 on field 4. Come watch us win....again. Later days!

Mowing, Part II

Mowing. Such power when you're behind a lawn mower. However, mowing our backyard brings on a new sense of power. I feel like I'm behind a tank, getting ready to enter a warzone. Seriously. Our backyard has so much junk lying around, and when the grass is long like it was today, well...I think you can understand the situation. For instance...there is NOTHING worse than running over dog poo. Ugh. But it should be dually (I think that's right) noted that sticks are much worse. I didn't see this "stick" until I was right up on it, and by then I figured, what the heck, why not? The mower can take it. Wrong. That stick turned out to be like, a window thing or whatever (you know, on windows to make them look fancy), or maybe it was some paneling or something...whatever it was, it was long and thick. I hit it, it makes a huge noise, then starts shooting out shards of wood shrapnel. Do I run, screaming like a girl? No, but I did perform the duck and cover mode, hiding behind the mower so as not to get hit. All that was going through my head was, oh, this is SO not good... but thankfully, nothing happened, so it was all good. Other than that nasty rotten tomato I ran over. Ewwww...haha, ok, I gotta go, but I have an indoor game tomorrow night at 8:30 @ Dulin's (everybody's invited! of course, you don't have to come) and an outdoor game this Tuesday night @ 5:30 on field 4. Later days!

Wendys

Not much happened today, (although my last Chemistry class was yesterday...WOOHOO!), but I went to Wendy's tonight for dinner and these people kill me. First, I go through the drive through, order a Frosty, and not get it. So, I headed inside (and it was cold outside. And I was wearing shorts) to get my Frosty (Now that I think about it, with it as cold outside as it is, I don't know why I ordered it...but I'm going through a Mountain Dew withdrawal, so lay off), and the girl overflows the cup. I was like...nice. So she squeezes the top on, which made Frosty ooze all over the sides, which I put my hand in because I wasn't paying attention. Oh well. Life goes on. lol, ok, no more from me, but I have an indoor soccer game this Sunday night @ 8:30. I only have 3 more indoor games, and 3 more outdoor games and then it's all over until the new year. Waaahhhhh... :(. Ok, later days!

Ligers

Oh my gosh...there's such a thing as a liger. I thought maybe this kid copied off of Napoleon, but I checked the website and this kid is for real! There are even pictures of crossed lions and tigers and they're called ligers! lol, the world must be coming to an end.....

My Napoleon Dynamite Gallery

Check out my Napoleon gallery! I put quotes from the movie by each picture. Sweet! lol :)

Napoleon and Pedro

Ah, I love this picture. It makes me crack up. And I owe my whole Napoleon Dynamite obsession (ok, it's not an obsession, but I had a word I was gonna use, and I forgot it...ughhhh!) to Maria, the person who took me to see that insane movie for the first time. And I saw it twice more after that. Now I'm thinkin' maybe I'm insane, at least to see that movie 3 times. Ok, all for me. Later days.

lol, I LOVE THIS!! Posted by Hello

Update

WWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! We won!!!! 13-6!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!! Wow. I could really just go outside and run around in the rain right now. That added to the fun tonight. The field was sopping wet, there were standing mud puddles and water...our coach made us slide around in the mud beforehand to get us used to it. So it was fun. Then it began to rain, but it was SO fun. I love playing in the rain....and mud. Yep. We maintain our undefeated title. WOOOOOO!!!!!!! lol, can you tell I'm excited???? K, well, going to go now. Go Bush!!!! Later days!!!

Napoleon Dynamite pics

Awwie, I tried to post a bunch of buddy icons of Napoleon, but it didn't work. I have like 50 and they're really good. If you want to see them, you can IM me at ICnBndItLkBckham. Soccer game tonight, 7:30, field 4 against Burbee. This is one game you don't want to miss. These guys are our rivals. I'll update later. Later days....
